A graduate of the University of Colorado School of Medicine, Dr. Harry Keefe has been practicing family medicine in Colorado for the past 30 years. After earning his MD with honors and completing a residency in family medicine at the University of Colorado Associated Hospitals, Dr. Keefe spent 11 years working in a two-doctor, rural family practice in Salida, Colorado. He was then employed for three years by the Physicians Network of Colorado Springs, working in the city’s Network Health Centers and at two local hospitals.
In 1999, Dr. Harry Keefe relocated to his current hometown of Pueblo, Colorado. After working for just over a year at the Southern Colorado Clinic, he transitioned into private practice, becoming a self-employed member of Pueblo Family Medicine, his present group practice. He also holds full privileges at Parkview Hospital and courtesy privileges at Saint Mary Corwin Hospital, and he provides services to several local nursing homes.
Outside of his professional activities, Dr. Keefe is an avid breeder and shower of Siberian huskies and Alaskan malamutes. He is a member of the Rocky Mountain Siberian Husky Club and a member and previous National Specialty Winner of the Siberian Husky Club of America.
